? Most accidents are occurred due to human negligence , so that?s why GPS system is used to get signal automatically of another train and apply automatic brakes of both train. ? Most accidents are occurred due to damaged track, so some sensors are used to detect the damaged part of the track.

Project Summary

• Most accidents are occurred due to human negligence , so that’s why GPS system is used to get signal automatically of another train and apply automatic brakes of both train.
• Most accidents are occurred due to damaged track, so some sensors are used to detect the damaged part of the track.
• Most accidents are occurred in populated area , so automatic barrier system is used to reduce the risk of accidents.
• Most accidents are occurred in smoggy or foggy weather that the driver couldn’t get informed that there is an obstacle in some distance so he can apply brakes, so that’s why some sensors are used that will operate in foggy weathers too.
? After the completion or at the end of FYP , this system is to be installed in
Pakistan railways. It can make our railway system more safe and reliable than other means of transportation.

Project Objectives

The objectives of this project are as follow:
1. Indicates presence of another train on same track
2. Detect of the damaged track
3. Automatic barrier system
4. Indicates obstacle on track during Foggy weather
5. System will operate through an application/software.

Project Implementation Method

First, all the simulations are done on softwares such as proteous and matlab

then all the objectives are implemented on hardware

Benefits of the Project

Two trains reach their stations safely and timely:

station 1 => Detect any obstacle on track => Barriers will be closed automatically => Detection of damaged track => If accidentally two trains coming towrds each other on same track then brakes applied automatically => both trains will reach their stations timely and safely => station 2(destination)

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

errors will be reduced that occur due to human negligence because it is an automated system and human work is negligible.
