In this project we are trying to predict the electrical fault that occurs at the joints of electrical equipments like transformers ,and bus bars . These faults occure due to several reasons like lose connections ,corrusion and breakeage of joint. Due to this fault terminal temperature rises and thermal image is feeded to the pre trained neural network that classify it as pre fault
our objective is to reduce the labor cost. Less labor will be required.
The chances loss of equipment due this fault can be reduced so reducing the overall cost as well
For the implementation of the project we have used a camera that capture Thermal images and feed it to the Convolutional neural network that is an image classifier algorithim. So images are classified as normal or pre fault
America has reduced more than 30% cost of electrical power sector by using this algorithim.
NTDC Pakistan has first time implemented this technique to save their equipments .
It will be able to capture thermal images and classification will be done through Convolutional Neural Network as normal or pre fault
