Prediction based electricity consumption alerts is based on ATmega family controllers, Node MCU Esp8266 chips which controls the various activities of the system. The system communicates over internet by using Wi-Fi technology. The system mainly comprises of a conventional energy meter which is interfaced with the microcontroller. It will able to remotely control loads as well as real time monitoring of energy consumption per device via created utility over internet.

A prediction algorithm will be developed, which will be able to predict next consumptions on the basis of previously consumed data.

The data from the microcontroller will be sent over different intervals and will be stored over a utility created over internet. The consumers can fix their own threshold unit values which can be easily customized based on their requirements and when 75% of the threshold value is reached, Alerts will be generated.

First of all, the literature review of every component and every concept related to the project will be done, any misconceptions will be cleared before start making the project.

Then components, software and algorithms involved for making the project will be analyzed.

Hereafter complete literature review and firm analysis of everything we will start making prediction based electricity consumption algorithm. The algorithm will be deployed over a utility created over internet.

The project will perform real time operations that is controlling loads remotely and transmit consumption data over Internet using Wi-Fi technology on designed webpage over fixed intervals. Benefits of the Project

Electrical energy is universally accepted as an essential commodity for human beings. Energy is the prime mover of economic growth and is vital to the sustenance of modern economy. Future economic growth crucially depends on the long-term availability of energy from its sources.

Our project mainly aims at the middle class and the lower middle class family to bring their electricity bill down with the help of the power consumption alert system. It not only benefits the consumer, it also benefits the government as it is capable of reducing the power consumption and subsequently can reduces the unusual power usage.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
