We will have microgrid,on this we are having Three Sources i:e Wind Turbine,Solar Panel and connection wires from Wapda with battery sources.After connection,we will integrate all these sources to minimize Harmonics distoration,Our Main project idea is to minimize the harmonics distoration with the help of filters.Harmonics may occur because of non linear loads e:g inductive loador inverters,converters or relays in the sytem.
We will use Microcontroller in this project,as it will give detection to the relay about voltage or current measurement,after that we will do programming in microcontroller.
Project ObjectivesIn this project electrical power is generated through renewable generating sources. We integrated these sources with proper protection on bus bar and then stored them in the battery. we are also charging our battery through Wapda along with cutoff circuit to protect it from over charging . The storage power in the battery is in th form of DC which is then converted in to AC,then we measured total harmonic distortion by applying Fast Fourier tranform.After total harmonic distortion measurement we applied filter for the mitigation of harmonic to get desired output and make the system relaible,This Projects involves the software simulation as well as hardware implementation to improve the power quality in microgrid.
Project Implementation MethodWe will do hardware based implemntation and also with software based system.
All simulation and optimization process are performed using shunt active filter or hysteresis current control technique,for shunt active filter traditionally passive filter were used for harmonic mitigation are deal with the reactive power issues but as they have several disadvantages for the resonanse problem,the problem fixed compensation performance is effected by source of impedence.
Benefits of the ProjectThere are several benefits of our project in our daily life:
we are using renewable sources,so thats it will no harmful on environment as well as no pollution will occurs.
In our daily life,Sometimes voltage or current increases so it effects electronic devices such as computer,refregirator,chargers,mobiles etc has been damaged. we will try to prevent or minimize these things.
Technical Details of Final Deliverablewe will made hardware based project,on that we will minimize the harmonic distortion in a system.

Solar Panel having 10watts,current will be 0.98Amps and voltage is 21.8 volts. length and width 13.8
battery having 7 amphere current 12V
Diode having 2 amps
LCD and micr controller and resisitance
