Our project is based on Power Electronics. In this project we are improving the power factor through Thyristor Switch Reactance (TSR). TSR belongs to Flexible AC Transmission System. We are desining this project for industries. Our project improves the power factor from 0.5 to 0.80.

We are making a prototype project. We are implementing it on PCB with proper designing and shows the results through LCD.

2. Reduce the losses which have great effects on cost of electricity used by industries.
3. It is uninterrupted system due to which industries work will not disturbed.
At the end of this project we will achieve improved power factor which have positive effect on industrial electric bills.
