According to the World Watch Institute, 74 percent of the world's poultry meat, and 68 percent of eggs are produced intensively. One alternative to intensive poultry farming is free-range farming using lower stocking densities. Poultry producers routinely use nationally approved medications, such as antibiotics, in feed or drinking water, to treat disease or to prevent disease outbreaks. Some FDA-approved medications are also approved for improved feed utilization. Poultry farming has become one the most important aspects of agriculture.

The main challenges of the indigenous poultry sub-sector include low genetic potential, low productivity, poor feeding with little supplementation, diseases, poor management and lack of organized market.

 Due to given challenges we make an environment friendly system which increase the high productivity, low labor cost and will be a significant reduction in diseases. As we known mostly diseases are due to lack of unproper cleaning system, which effect the chicks and get infected. We provide water, feed, cleaning and temperature maintaining system.

Project Objectives

Automation Poultry Farm system is control:

  1. Water controlling
  2. Controlling Feed overdose
  3. Maintain cleanliness
  4. Maintain the desire temperature
  5. Reduce the labour cost & effort
  6. Reduce the electricity’s expenses
Project Implementation Method

For implementation of this project, we will require hardware and software module.

Functional programming language is used to interact with hardware.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We will use a Arduino device with which 4 motors are connected every motor is run on fix time which we set in the lcd of the Arduino device and off the given time. This working will be implemented on daily bases it means it run n auto mode as we set alarm on our phone and we hear alarm sound on daily bases.one motor provide feed in plates and second provide the water to the chicks.

3rd & 4th motor is connected with conveyer, 1st conveyer the waste of chicks to reach on 2nd conveyer, and then this 2nd conveyer this waste to reach out. One is temperature device, which sense the internal temperature. If the temperature is above to the our desire temperature then the exhaust fans are run and maintain the temperature.
