•A pick and place robot is the one which is used to pick up an object and place it in the desired location. It is basically a robot which follows a particular path or trajectory and decides its own course of action which interacts with obstacle. The path can be a black line on the white floor.Moving small objects like balls,light weight boxes.

Project Objectives

General objective is to pick objects from one place to another place with the help of linear guide ways.Academic objective is that we have learning from embedded,electronics and robotics are the base of our project.

Project Implementation Method

The pick and place robot is a microcontroller based mechatronic system that detects the object, picks that object from source location and places at desired location. For detection of object, android object detection application is been developed by using java language.

Benefits of the Project

•These robots can be used as automated equipment    carriers in industries replacing traditional conveyer belts.These can be used in public places like shopping malls, museums etc to provide path guidance.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

•Two robots will be implemented and shown to operate in parallel.

•Get the location of object based on BAR code.

Go to the specified place and bring the object where required.
