Typically, Women and children safety matters a lot whether at home, outside the home, at school or working place. Nowadays ladies are facing more crimes like rape, domestic violence, or abuse. So, safety is our highest priority concerning the security of every single human being. These days people carry their smartphones with them everywhere, therefore it would be feasible to integrate an application in our smartphones so that everybody can access it efficiently. To tackle with current safety issues and provide protection through the application integrated inside smartphones will be the best option, according to today’s generation.
The aim of this project will be to design and develop a fastest possible android app with to provide user friendly security system to women, children and anyone in the situation of danger.
The App will be based on two modules i-e User and Guardian. The app will work with or without an Internet connection (i-e online and offline modes) to make it a systematic application, as availability of internet in hazardous situation is hardly possible.
This application will be capable of sending SOS alerts to the registered contacts for security purposes. Trusted contacts will have the access to our live location on map in order to track the location and ensure that the family member has reached the destination safely. This application can also capture audio and videos files to send it to the emergency contacts along with an alert message. It also provides a way to connect quickly to the nearest possible hospitals and police stations in extreme emergency cases. Additionally, the note-worthy feature includes to track down a lost or stolen cellphone.
Our focus is on building an effective, fast and reliable system to make people feel safe and empowered, especially women and children because they are more likely to be a victim of such hazardous situations.Our platform will serve as a practical partner to support such people so that they do not feel left out in the midst of a crisis.
The tool will works as the alarming eyes and ears of the police and most probably the guardians to help them prevent crime against there concerned people. This tool is designed to cover a wide range of situations, such as when alone or in a crowded place or in a public transport vehicle etc.
The main purpose of this project is to provide a more reliable security system for women's safety. The proposed system is based on advanced sensors, Microcontroller and GSM. We will also make use of advanced Google map API’s to track the location of nearest hospitals and police stations. The primary goal of this program is to create a GPS-based tracking system to track the current location of a person with a cell phone enabled by android by extracting the length, width, and readable location of that target person.

The project is about security application in which when user opens the app for the very first time, he/she has to allow permissions, after permissions are granted, user can use the services of application. The very first feature of app is instructions on how to use the application, how to use in trouble and what happens after 5 seconds.
After reading the instructions user needs to register their well-wishers whom they believe might help in danger. After registering all your well-wishers, user can see all the contacts that they saved and delete them and add as much as they want. In case of emergency, when user feels insecure, he can ACTIVE the background services. So, at any time he feels that he is in danger and his phone is locked. User has to shake his phone 3 times only and then a SMS alert with location through GPS is sent to registered contacts and a call to very first contact number, so be careful while saving the contact numbers. It depends on user that whether he wants to shake mobile or press up volume key for 5 times so same features will be formed as shaking the mobile 3 times. If user wants to send SMS for help only, that is without location as he has no internet connection, so he has to press volume down key for five times.
Another feature of the application is that when our guardians are not able to respond us then there is a helpline feature of the application where there are already saved numbers that are registered with the Government Official Security like of Police, Women in distress center, Ambulance, and domestic abuse these all numbers are already saved. Other than that, this application has a police siren through which user can distract the attacker in case of emergency. User can also see his location on map and find the location where he wants to go. This application enables the user to track live location of the guardian. Some advance features are also integrated in this app, as it can capture audio and video of the current situation and send the files to their registered contacts. This also provides authentic evidences related to the incident.
It also tracks out the nearest hospitals and police stations for the victims ease. Moreover, it has a feature which can track down a lost or stolen phone offline.
As this project is based on security, to ensure security of our generation whether it is girls, women or children or even men. Human security is the first priority therefore this application is very beneficial in saving lives of people by developing a user friendly application with a lot of features that will make them really easy to use in dangerous situations where it would be really hard to use normal mobile features. This application has a lot of features that are reliable and can be used efficiently in any situation.
Looking at the current situation of the country, it is impossible to trust people that are destined to look after our security and provide us secure grounds. Even the security officials these days are not trustworthy enough, either they are intially involved in the crime scenes or they take bribes from the criminal party to hide their crime. And in some situations the police forces are informed of the incidents after the incident happens and situation get worse . People can only call upon there well wishers in those situation.
Therefore people can only rely on themselves for their security, and this application will contribute to ensure security to individuals by giving them access including authentic proofs related to the incident
Our project is highly dependent on secure platform because it’s aim is to ensure security to the people in critical and hazardous situations. Therefore it is necessary to use make the application highly secure by using Paid API’s, we need API’s for including google maps in application, to track nearest emergency locations such as Hospitals and Police Stations. API’s are also needed to make availability of the google map offline so that the people in emergency situations will be able to use the map and send the location even when the person is offline or have no access to internet connection. And also to download the map to use it offline.
However, as this application is based on android, we will need to add plugins to make it work offline.
