People Count
People Count consist of a camera mounted on top of the drone. The drone will record the video and send this video to the ground station where certain algorithms will be applied on the video to generate the count of people in that video.

People Count consist of a camera mounted on top of the drone. The drone will record the video and send this video to the ground station where certain algorithms will be applied on the video to generate the count of people in that video.
Project Objectives
The objective is to count the no of people in a specified area for which the video is recorded.
Project Implementation Method
The video is going to be recorded by the drone and send to the ground station. On the ground station the video is converted into frames. Now the frames are fed into the model that will apply Artificial Intellegence, Image Processing and Deep Learning Algorithms to generate the count of people in a specified area.
Benefits of the Project
The project will benefit the civil and military Armed forces. They can use it for security purposes to count the number of people in a gathering and do security measures accordingly. It will also help the media houses to do survillence of protests and political gatherings to see the crowd density. It can also be used by management companies to only allow a certain people to enter a premises.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
The final delivarable is going to be both hardware and software based. The hardware delivarable will have a drone with a camera that we have assembled on our own.
The software part will have a GUI interface web application. The video is fed there and after the processing the GUI will show the count.
