The Li-Fi technology, proposed by the German physicist Harald Haas, provides data transmission through lighting by sending data through a LED bulb that varies in intensity faster than the human eye can follow. As light is ubiquitous, the use of light as a means of Li-Fi transmission can provide wireless communication indoors. Data transfer over Li-Fi is done in bits and is much faster than Wi-Fi. Li-Fi technology uses visible light for communication instead of radio waves, such as medium high speed communications similar to Wi-Fi. The user can take advantage of high-speed data transmission approximately 1000 times more efficient than existing Wi-Fi data transfer technology using radio frequency. In this project, we will be transmitting data using Li-Fi technology between two non-directional devices. This system can be presented as a unidirectional VLC system in which one computer can act as a transmitter and the other as a receiver. It should be noted that the system worked better for the white LED than for the red LED and the IR LED. As a result, the VLC-based file and text transfer system is implemented with a white LED.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of this project is to implement the new technology with aplicable application "PC TO DATA TRANSMISSION USING LI-FI" .To study Li-Fi technology based on pre six Generation, and the analysis of the implementation of this technology in practical environment. In this project we are going to design such system that can transmit data PC to PC uni-directional using visible light spectrum with Li-Fi technology.
Project Implementation MethodIn this project hardware implementation is done by designing transmitter and receiver .The basic principal is to transmitt data through LED and receive through photodiode receiver.we have oscillator in this project operated at 1.2 ghz (approxematlly) .we have transmitt data involving text ,data ,audio vedio usin lifi .
