Project Summary

Pakistan News Aggregator system will Scrap and aggregate news from all the well-known electronic news publishers and distributors of Pakistan. The system collects news from different sources using the technique of web scrapping. The system further categorizes news based on news category
(Tags), news publishers. The system also implements the concept of personalized news using Tags selected by the user on the time of signup.

Project Objectives

The primary objective of this project is to make the news more organized for the end user so users can extract information from their favorite sources which are relevant to them by personalizing news based on the user interests.

Project Implementation Method

Basically, in this project we are using the technique of web scrapping for fetching the news from different sources and after this on our end we will organize the news in different categories of all the sources we’d gathered by using different sorting algorithms. We will also manage the user account to
store the user interests based on that we will also provide the personalized news to the user.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

(This News aggregator system will Scrape news from different sources and aggregate the news category wise on this single platform also provide tag-based personalization.
There are two types of users in this system Following

Admin: Admin will manage all the administrative work like user’s authentication, News source creation, Category creation and manipulation, Manage all the user accounts.

Users: Users can access personalized news based on the user profile (tagsselected), user can comment on any post and also user can see User’s activity anytime.
