Project Summary

When a brand owner needs a brand identity for his product packaging plays the most important role in the growth of his product. The two important things for the packaging marketing is the shape or structural of packaging and its design aspects such as color, logos, product images and etc. We want to unite these entities through web platform for structural needs of packaging we gather different Packaging Industries with their specialization and for the design needs we want to gather a freelance graphic designers community to fulfill the packaging needs on this web application.

The P&D Solution will be a collaborative digital asset production and management platform, offering services ranging from online approval to web-based production environment for all participants of the production cycle, including brand owners, graphic designers and multichannel service provider. It aims to Consumers; Graphics designers and Packaging Industries to comes closer.

Project Objectives

The main purpose for packaging process to reduce the artwork time, reduce the package design time, increase productivity, and reduce the cost in the packaging and artwork development process. Most importantly, solving this problem enables consumer products companies to drive brand value in the market through better alignment of people, processes and brand assets in a way that readily scales to meet fluctuating demands and increasing complexity.

Project Implementation Method

For the initiating phase of the project we need to gather data from different packaging industries which requires

• What kind of packaging they deal with and their specialization of packaging?
• What is the process of their work methodologies?
• How much the printing and packaging cost?
• What are their deliverable?
• How much time it takes to finalize the packaging?

The second phase will be gathering graphic designer by promoting freelance design portfolios and their designing interest.

The third phase deals with brand owners where they can select types of packaging according to their needs comparing different packaging industries according to cost, specialization, time deliveries and etc.

Once a structure of packaging is decided brand owner can hire any of graphic designer based on experience, experties, portfolios and etc.

When structure and design meets to complete the whole packaging brand owner can review his packaging before approvals and can even watchable in three dimensional form through Augmented Reality, How will his product looks in real.

Benefits of the Project

Brand owner or a consumer need a packaging for his product to be presented in the market. Majority of brand owners or consumers believes fragmented workflows and lack of integration of graphics designer and varying stakeholders in Packaging Industry leads to high amount of processes and work duplication bringing the high amount of errors and time delays. The P&D solution could resolve those issues.

It can be a great source of income for freelance graphic designer community and to show their talent in the field of arts.

Packaging Industries gets the hands on work with some less efforts finding for clients in packaging industry is difficult.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Many of the world’s largest businesses including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and General electric have embraced augmented reality in their promoting programs. they need used AR to form interactive advertising and packaging, enhance retail experiences.
