This project aims to monitor the employee’s presence and absence whether they are on their seats on working hours or not. Also this system monitors the entrance and exit of the employees  whether they are coming late or on time. This is done by face recognition through image processing. This system also  allows the corresponding authorities to check updates of employees via notifications, (for example if a particular person is not on her seat on working hours so system wait her for 10 minutes, and then it generates the notification to the admin about the absence of 10 minutes).

This system is being developed to reduce the manpower and automate the employee monitoring. The system can be utilized by various organizations and educational institutions. The system will also be able to locate a person.

Project Objectives

The MONITORO project will meet the following objectives:

• The main objective of this project is to reduce the manpower and automate the system of employee monitoring.
• It improves the employee productivity
• Monitoro allows a business to monitor worker engagement with workplace related tasks.
• A business using employee monitoring can track attendance, and collect proof of hours worked.

Project Implementation Method

The project will be implemented by installing cameras at various points.

The real-time video analysis will be performed to detect the employees using face detection algorithms.
