Project Summary
This application facilitates citizens to report an incident of a missing person/children from the jurisdiction of Pakistan. Upon, registration, the complainant will get acknowledgement on the mobile and simultaneously, Central Police Control Room and concerned Police Station will be alerted for taking action.
This project Finding Missing Person using Face Detection on Android Application presents the solution for this problem, its a scheme that is use on android mobile for capturing images and upload that into application, getting result on basis of face detection. We are using SWF-SIFT algorithm for comparing two images, the system ensure that 70- 80 per result on basis of compared images. We are using three modules, Compliant holder, User, Admin for getting appropriate result.

Benefits of the Project
Manual System for finding missing person have very long procedure and takes more time. More time is require for launching an FIR (First Information Report) in police station. Also time required for finding lost person is more. Also during manual process number of manpower for searching lost person is less.
Child missed in parks
There are lot of cases seen that number of children are lost day by day in family parks and hard to find quickly our app will help to find the children as fast as someone post details of the children on the app.
Sudden Accident Victims
In a sudden accident, victims can be seriously injured and unable to communicate. If there is no one else present with accident victims to help, our app can help to find the victim’s relative.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
This application can be used by a normal citizen who can register and post the missing person details on the application to find the person quickly.
It can also used in the hospital ICU and Emergency Cases which comes without attendant and help to find the person’s parent and relatives to solve the cases urgently.
