This system alert the miners regarding harmful gases. this gives the information about unconscious miners. This will able to measure increase temperature, removal of helmet, collision and also track miner by inertial tracking.
Project Objectives- Detection of location of miners.
- Detection of dangerous gases.
- Detection of collision.
- Detect the unconscious miner.
- Measurement of the increase of temperature.
- Transfer of information to base station.
- Inertial navigation system is used to miners position.
- Temperature sensor is used to measure temperature.
- Different gass sensor is used to detect dangerous gases.
- The limit switch is used to detect helmet removal.
- The accelerometer is used to detect unconscious miner or if miner fall down.
- This methods of functions can be done by using micro controller or zigbee module.
- We will be able to track miners.
- To evacuate miners before any mishap such as explosion.
- This helmet will be able to alert and prevent from collision.
A real time monitor system that gives information of miner to base station by using sensors. This helmet gives the information of release of harmful gases, unconscious miners, increase of temperature, to track miners, helmet removal.
