Project Summary

Look and Guide is a web & mobile app-based solution that can solve the few problems of the visually impaired person. From this app any visually impaired person smartphone user can detect his/her surroundings such as things, person, objects, and send an alert message in case of trouble. Users can detect his/her surrounding by their smartphone camera. The visually impaired person will receive a voice message which users can hear through his smartphone speakers, headphones, earphone, or any other hearing device. visually impaired person will also hear printed text statement on an object by pointing a smartphone camera. When they are attending a meeting, they can detect people's facial expressions. Moreover, this system also includes Computer Vision Features. In this chapter, we will discuss our project idea in-depth and then analyze that idea from various perspectives. First, we will discuss the opportunity that we see in this proposed idea and what are the needs of the involved stakeholders that we are targeting. After that, we will discuss the motivational factors involved with this proposed solution and also discuss some of the challenges that we are likely to face while implementing this solution. The rest of this chapter will then focus on the goals and objectives of our project. After that, we will explain the proposed solution and outline the report content.

Project Objectives

Our Goal was clear to help the visually impaired person in daily life actives. Our ultimate goal is to help him and make him independent. Catch more traffic form the market to visit that application and no need to buy expansive gadgets or many other devices your smart mobile is more much capable to do all other things. By providing all related information and effective features for parents to connect with that impaired person and build more trust in this app.

To drive profitable growth by expanding features, reducing the cost of physical devices. Our objective to overcome the issue of the visually impaired person through one application, there is a lot of application in the market they are performing those tasks. In our country, we are facing an internet issue, most of the applications use API and cloud communication sources but our objective makes a system that will also work without an internet connection and give the best service to over user.

Visually Impaired people face significant challenges in daily routine. They focus on improving non-visual mobile accessibility has been at the level of touchscreen access. Our research investigates the challenges faced by visually impaired people in their everyday works. In this scenario, we present a set of studies performed with the target population, novices and experts, using a variety of methods, targeted at identifying and verifying challenges and coping mechanisms. Through a multiple method approach we identify and validate challenges locally with a diverse set of user expertise and devices, and at scale through the analyses of the largest Android dedicate forums for visually impaired people. We contribute with a prioritized corpus of smartphone challenges for visually impaired people, and a discussion on a set of directions for future research that tackle the object detection, reading and face detection ending meeting such type of challenges. There are several challenges associated with this project; one of the biggest challenges is the availability of resources required for the development which includes mobile devices with computer vision features support and machines for development and testing. Furthermore, learning these technologies in a limited time is another challenge.

Architectural design and then followed by Use cases. We will illustrate Use case diagrams as well as detailed use case textual details in fully dress format. After that, we will discuss Activity diagrams and Class diagrams. In the last, we will see Database schemas for No-SQL databases. In all the diagrams we will try to draw out the workflow and technical design of the system.

Matplotlib makes easy things easy and hard things possible.
