Library Management System
This project is concerned with developing a Library Management System for Agape Youth Library in order to make library management more efficient and easy to handle. The Library management system enables a fully automated library service. It has the ability to display the details of the books available in various departments, the transactions of books and about the book holders.
Objectives of Library Management System (LMS)
a) To build a system that can receive input and generate automatically output in easy way and short time.
b) To build a monitoring system that is able to monitor and manage all library operations efficiently.
c) Give an opportunity to librarians to reduce mistakes that always happen during manual method.
d) To store properly the library items in order to maintain their security.
e) To enter and preserve details of the various issues and keep a track on their returns.
The development model that is chosen for the project development is Prototype model. The prototype model that is being used is to gain insights of the proposed solution via survey through interaction with end users. The project is based and is a web application along with Android application that will mainly provide an interface for the users to interact with the system. The development languages like JavaScript for client side development, PHP for server side development and java or Katlin (for android development) along with XML to develop Android application to create a connectivity with the core of system that is meant web application. Markup languages like HTML, CSS along with the usage of different frameworks and libraries. Database and its different concept will be wisely used that will allow the users to send/insert and retrieve data in different situations (in availability/ absence of Data connection).

The system is mainly consist of three modules that are discussed and mentioned following.
The main and hard core functionality and feature will be added to the system that the issue the required book or download the recommended book from the soft section user on basis of Algorithm and it will decide it on the basis of author language.
After successful completion of this project, we will get web application supported by android application that will mainly provide interface to the users to interact with the system through user friendly and animated interfaces so that users can easily use and be able to interact with the system. The development and implementation of system in market will cause to end the gap between librarian and Book user or book reader and with the librarian and reader will get benefit from the system.

By using library management system, the operation of borrowing and managing inventories is paperless. This system provides a user-friendly data entry with dropdown button menu, list box and checkbox in purpose to make the input entry easier to understand and use. It is also created to ensure that the library items are stored properly in order to maintain their security.
