Need of bringing the students to a single platform that provides versatility of ideas and of resources is a problem. At the global level, students cannot interact with each other freely. Moreover, access of global resources, research papers and publications is quite difficult and expensive too. This creates an educational imbalance between students all over. LearnZilla will be a mobile application to help solve these problems. It will connect the students in a way that provokes learning. They can message each other to discuss their problems. It will also let the students to access the online library and maintain their timetables. In addition to this, it will allow students to join the open discussion threads, removing all of the educational barriers. LearnZilla is a medium that helps the student society.

Project Objectives

1. Provide students a facility to interact in a controlled environment.

2. Provide proper security of data.

3. Let the users interact according to their interests and others as well.

4. Provide a free source of authentic inofrmation to the students.

Project Implementation Method

Sequence of LearnZilla (an Android based) application is, the student first logs in to the LearnZilla application and select the facility he wants to use at the moment. It can be either be getting access to the library through bookHub or discussing a question on a public forum through TalkTown, whatever the student chooses. While accessing library, student can upload or download a certain resource. Through Stratagem, student can plan his events. The system will then generate notifications for these planned activities. Students can also find other students and then connect to them either in one to one chat or a group-chat. Students can post a question on a public discussion forum to which others or student himself can leave a reply to. These replies will be marked up or down according to the approval or disapproval of users. This count will help to generate a credibility score, displayed on the profile, for the student who has replied.

Benefits of the Project

Times have changed the way we think and do stuff. With increasing technology in our lives we have quite been deflected from the path and skipping the steps of education. Youngsters waste most of their times doing nothing on internet surfing or on social networking platform. To bring a medium that motivates them to complete their educational tasks is severely needed. That does not annoy them and is also productive. Other such applications are not providing ease of use, friendly environment and do not support versatility and is bounded by a teacher. LearnZilla is creating a platform that will allow students to interact without any boundary and get access to resources without any discrimination. This will create a great educational impact on the society ultimately leading to stabilize the financial needs of the company as well as the students.
