Dyslexia is a learning disorder that effects the ability to read, write, spell and sometimes speak. Kids who have it are often smart and hardworking, but they have trouble connecting the letters they see to the sounds those letters make. In this modern world of science and technology there are ways to fight with such disorders medically and there should be a proper automated system that can help make the academic life of dyslexic kids better and productive. In academic institutes, it is very difficult task for teachers to identify dyslexic kids and to train them accordingly.

Dyslexia is not related to intellect. Kids with dyslexia process language differently. They have problems translating language to thought (in listening or reading) and thought to language (in writing or speaking). If dyslexia is not found and treated early on, it can become more and more problematic. As kids get behind in school, they may become more and more frustrated. Often, self-esteem problems develop, which lead to bad behavior and other problems. When dyslexia is not noticed or not treated, it can lead to adult literacy problems. Identifying dyslexia early on can get your child the necessary help he or she needs to reach his or her fullest potential.

Our Learning management System for Dyslexia Kids is an online platform, which will have three main goals. First, it will take an initial test from user and will decide that whether user is a dyslexia patient or not. Second is that to provide them with proper exercise for treatment. Third is that system will monitor their test results, progress and it will update their Dyslexia Status and recommended exercises. Users can make online accounts the system will monitor their respective progress. System will have use all the senses of the user and try to teach him effectively. There would be cartoon styled characters, many alphabetic shapes making it easy for them to remember and recognize them. The system will also provide pronunciations so that they can hear the words.

Project Objectives

Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. There is no automated system that check for dyslexia, provides exercise for treatment and monitor users progress. Our website will resolve this issue and help the people suffering from dyslexia.

Project Implementation Method

We will create an asp.net website and create an canvas based system for dyslexia identification.

We will also use screen reader mcq's and the canvas based system for dyslexia improvement of kids.

Benefits of the Project

1. Improve dylexic children condition.

2. Anyone can diagnose them to verify whether they are dyslexic or not.

3. Can be used by medical institutes for dyslexia improvement.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

An website on which anyone can give a free test to check if they have deslexia or not.

Also if they have dyslexia then they can use therapies available on website to improve their condition.

Therefore in the end reduceing dyslexia paitent numbers.
