Project Summary

We are going to develop a virtual reality game for football lovers. This game is not only for pro footballers but it is also for those who want to learn football. There will be different Modes in this game and you will be playing this with opponent computer player. This game develops skills in newbie and improves the skills of pro players. 
It may not offer the experience of a full match, but Kick off VR will give you one of the most nervewracking virtual reality experiences you can find when it comes to sport. 
At skill Arena game mode in Kick off, you can perfect and improve your shooting and goalkeeping skills. In goalkeeping mode, you will be a goalkeeper and save the football from a different direction. In Free Kick mode you will be able to kick the ball in different directions. In suggestion, mode game will give you suggestions according to your game.   
The game will be developed on the unreal engine 4 and we will use Oculus rift VR. We use the oculus controller for saving the football and to kick the football. The programming languages used will be C++ and JavaScript.

Project Objectives

Kick-Off is a virtual reality game for football lovers. This project provides two modes like goalkeeping and free-kick. A player can be a keeper or free kicker. This game will help the newbie to grasp the basics of football. Regular players can polish their skills. Due to different types of mods, players can work on their weakness. Virtual reality will give you a life like experience. Players will be able to gain experience without fatigue. 
For football fans, virtual reality (VR) has not offered much in the way of immersive entertainment so far. There’s plenty of standard videogames on the sport, but it seems as if football does not translate over well to VR headsets. But that depends on what part of the game you’re interested in, while football mad kids dream of being a striker – upfront and scoring goals.

Project Implementation Method

we are making a virtual reality game using Unreal Engine 4.

Unreal Engine 4 is game development platform.

and we are connecting Occulus rift for motion sensing.

Benefits of the Project

Football is well known playing game and needs a lot of practice to become an expert in it. People stop playing it because of the fear of failure in front of others and especially for those youngsters who are not allowed to go to outside. Football clubs charge heavy money for football matches. 
Injuries are relatively common in football, due to its nature as a full-contact game. Injuries occur during both practice and games. In addition to neurological damage caused by hits to the head, injuries to the mid and lower body can force players to retire or lead to nagging ailments in later life. 
Practices, coaching sessions, matches, and tournaments can eat up a lot of your time, especially if there is traveling involved. Then there are the social events to attend with the team, time spent buying and replacing clothes or equipment, and time spent seeking help and treatment for injuries. If you captain or coach a team, then the time commitments increase exponentially compared to being a player, and you can find yourself texting, emailing, and organizing almost non-stop. 
Our main objective is with a virtual environment where player can mature their skills without the real-world worries of failing. It is a Helpful environment for newbie. It saves time and money. No need to go out to play. It will help us to gain the experience of real environment. It will polish the skills of regular player.

VR has a huge potential in the gaming sector. The idea of virtual reality in gaming can offer fast growth rate in the business. VR games are fascinating that gives immersive experience in a 3D environment. Hence, VR games allow users to not only observe the 360-video content but also offer an immersive experience. 
Virtual reality is taking the business to new heights. This technology offers an environment to convert your imagination into reality. The extraordinary features in the form of 360 views are attracting the businesses to incorporate VR into their marketing strategy. VR is efficient in clubbing vital elements into a versatile environment in various sectors. 
This application will be built for Football. This application will provide user a virtual environment. This application will help players fond of football playing at clubs to save their money. This application will let users improves then football skills for real environment. Our main objective is with a virtual environment where player can mature their skills without the real-world worries of failing. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Final delivery of our Project KICK-Off will be a game .

KICK_OFF will be a Virtual Reality  training platform to accelerate football intelligence learning and boost players performance by using Oculus VR.

Constrains will be:

• Oculus VR is in working condition. 
• Player should have desktop pc or laptop higher than 5th generation.  
• Unreal engine demands powerful GPU. 
• The application will be desktop application.  
• Artificial Intelligence will be used for training the computer as a football player  
• 3D Modeling will be required for the objects. 
• Oculus programming for virtual reality.
