The purpose of this project is to acquire the IOT based substation monitoring and controlling system using arduino with data logging. An IOT module provides the communication interface .By using IOT module we can update data on webserver and also using data logging to save the data in SD card. This project proposes the analysis based on this parameters like voltages, current, frequency, temperature, humidity and oil level and also implementation of automatic voltage control using on load tap changer (OLTC) for maintaining fixed output voltages. This prototype also contain LCD for output. The system is also use for controlling purpose if any problem will occur the whole system will get shut down. The design of this automatic voltage control system is used for tapping on secondary side of transformer and this project is developed for the user to easily recognize the substation transformer that is suffered by any problem.
The main aim of this project is to acquire the IOT based Substation monitoring and control system.
Task 1: Literature review and market survey
Task 2: Purchase components (Arduino and all sensors etc )
Task 3 : Sensor interfacing with Arduino and check the results
Task 4 : Hardware designing and fitting all components together
Task 5 : Arduino programming and interfacing with Data logging and Iot.
Task 6 : Test and trial the and project demonstration.
First of all we will make a survey to the different markets and then we will analyze which parts is more compatible for us and we will compare the prize through by analyzing the different objects then our next step will be on prototype we will design a prototype structure by using arduino then our next work will be on hardware designing by using PCB ,we will make a PBC layout by the help of PCB layout we will develop hardware structure after that our next step will be on Arduino coding we will develop a code and then we will implement this code on arduino after doing this all work finally in the end we will going to demonstrate these all things.
