In this project,crops get water from canal/river directly through the IOT based smart system which can be controlled using smart phone..this project alo shows the location of fields on gps maps and inform availability of water through sensors.The flow and level of the sensor is also used to determine the level and flow of river/canal.

- Continuously monitoring the status of soil and provide signal for taking necessary actions
Project Implementation Method
In the proposed Irrigation system IoT is implemented, in this system all the information that are received from the sensors and the various parameters are given to the arduino-uno microcontroller as an analog input. A preset value of soil moisture sensor is fixed in microcontroller and also for fencing. When it goes beyond the particular threshold value the gate of the desired field gets open and water enter the field and start irrigating.once the water requirement is fullfilled the gates get closed using smart phone.
