The project of IT based smart agriculture system is especially for farmers and for the growth of agriculture in our country. This system contains of andriod based smartphone sensors which communicate through Wi-Fi. A router which is connected to arduino microcontroller and Node MCU esp8266.It is based on the microcontroller that is controlling the real time status of the plants to the sensors which are delivered by the Wi-Fi router to the application in the smartphone. The purpose of this system us to make new agriculture applications in smart farming and precision farming through IOT which helps the industry to increase operational efficiency, lower cost, reduce waste, store water and improve the quality of this field.
Smart farming based on IoT technologies empowers our farmers to attain productivity within the right time frame and thus ensures the production of secure and stable crops.This Smart Agriculture System is used to Monitoring the plant growth by using Sensor and scaling tools and then sending the status to the Andriod application.The received data is verified with the threshold values and Run time values are configure and send alert sms on andriod device.
For the project development I choose the incremental model.in this model no need of well skill and well train developer. Requirement are broken down into small modules.
Incremental development is done in steps from analysis design, implementation, testing/verification, maintenance
The current smart farming system is only based on Farmer experience.Farmer verify all the parameters for cultivation. Farmer only through their experience monitor the cultivation process some farmer mostly grow single crop which is moonson dependent
