Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryPoultry farm has an issue of temperature at different seasons and different times depending on the age of the chick. In order to increase productivity and decrease the costs of the farm, it is suggested to introduce a temperature controlling system by dividing the poultry farm into different virtual sections and then using temperature sensors at different sections.
These temperature sensors will be connected to a central microcontroller which will be connected to a cloud based service ensuring the proper temperature and humidity is controlled according to the needs of the population.
Project Objectives- To Control the Temperature both in winters and in summer seasons.
- To connect the poultry farm temperature controller with the internet service (IOT Enabled)
- Realtime monitoring and alerting system.
A model will be developed which will demostrate a farm and model small Room coolers will be used to demonstrate the temperature cooling systems and humidity controllers for the farms during summer, while bulbs will be used as alternatives for heaters for winter seasons.
All of these will be connected to a central Microcontroller which will also be connected with a cloud on the internet. A mobile application and a service will be developed which will also be connected to the cloud thereby alerting the managers about the overall temperatures and humidity in the farm.
Benefits of the Project- The managers will be connected with their farm in realtime from anywhere.
- This will Increase Productivity if properly monitered
- Cost of overall electricity will be reduced as the monitoroing will be autoamtic.
A Internet of Things enabled poultry Farm Model with temperature controlled systems along with circitry to control the temperature controllers.
