To overcome this problem we use Tele-medicine technique. In this regard we are going to make remote health monitoring system , by analyze and visualize real time health parameter of connected person. for monitoring purpose some mini devices has been assembled and programmed to express continuous health condition of patient any time anywhere. Not only the sensors concerning to health condition of patient measures the body temperature, heart beat and blood pressure but also sends its data wirelessly to other device called as IOT. IOT is utilized to send the continuous measures of body vital parameters to a website and android mobile application. So by employing this hardware we are going to
measure the vital parameters of cardiac and any pay patient for life saving
purpose which can be further used by his or her doctor for life rescuing
purpose.
Project ObjectivesInternet of things (IOT) can be used in monitor the patient’s health. The idea here is to provide an intelligent smart health system by using some sensors and microcontrollers; it will sense the body condition and send the data to the main server and from server it can be visualize on web-page or Application. The doctors at the hospital and patient related people anywhere are kept informed about the condition of the patient, to give appropriate advice and make arrangements accordingly. The health observation system can keep track of patient's pulse rate, ECG ,blood pressure and body temperature.
So we can give quick services to the patient in hospital or anywhere The system can solve the problem of the doctor he or she can analyze patient from anywhere in low cost and low power consumption
Project Implementation MethodIn order to make the project, we proposed two units named as sensor node IOT gateway node. Sensor node contains a microcontroller (ATMEGA328p) and NodeMcu(ESP8266) used to gather the info from sensors and transmission, heart beat sensor working on light emission and detection technique used to calculate heart beat and blood pressure, LM35 used to measure temperature to calculate hotness and coldness of a body, of the body and ECG sensor to visualize the ECG graph NodeMcu used to transmit data to IOT gateway device, Batteries (lithium ion) used to power the
circuit, charging circuit to charge batteries, Buttons. While the IOT gateway node
consists of microcontroller (ATMEGA328p),Nodemcu and microcontroller is used to receive data from sensor , power supply/adapter to give power to the circuit, Esp8266 to send data to the personal server, 5v Buzzer which buzzes when fatal condition reaches. Android mobile application continuously receives data from the personal server.
Benefits of the ProjectIOT has stepped out of its origination and is the next revolutionary technology in transforming the Internet into a fully integrated Future Internet by adaptation of variety of enabling wireless technologies such as RFID tags and embedded sensor and actuator nodes. For basic vitals such as blood pressure, weight, pulse and heart rate, patients not needing to visit a clinic for monitoring due to benefits of smart devices . The doctor can recommend medication, if needed by transmitting information to the doctor through these devices. Smart devices will not only convey important health parameters but also provide intelligent alerts to the person who is wearing it.
This study shows the advancements in health care management technology, it would save patients from the future health problems that would arise and would also help doctors to take an appropriate measure or action at a proper time regarding patient’s health
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn IoT-based patient health monitoring system is built for monitoring the patient with the help of sensors ( pulse, Temperature and ,ECG, Blood Pressure). The doctor can monitor the patient conditions from anywhere. This monitoring is highly efficient when compared with the conventional approach. . Scope of the project deals with the wireless sensor network So, It includes LM35 ( temperature) and, pulse sensor, and ESP8266 NodeMCU WiFi module. The sensors collect all the information from the patient and send it to the real time interface of one time paid IoT platform (blynk).
