This project revolves around creating an automated security system prototype with the main focus being the ability to monitor the certain area through the internet. The system consists of a central device (Raspberry pie), a database and an Android application One of the popular expressions in the Information Technology is Internet of Things (IoT). The future is Internet of Things, which will change this present reality objects into intelligent virtual items. The IoT expects to bind together everything in our reality under a typical foundation, giving us control of things around us, yet additionally keeping us educated regarding the condition of the things. This report focuses on definitions, basic requirements and characteristics of Internet of Things specifically “Anti-theft flooring System”. The fundamental goal of this project is to give an overview of IOT based “Anti-theft Smart flooring system” and Its utilization in our everyday life.
We are developing a Security System using floor tiles that will help the user to remain informed about any kind of activity in the house/shop/bank etc. When they are not around. This project will basically be implemented in the indoor environment. Normal CCTV cameras requires continuous surveillance of that area under the human recourse. And crimes are usually found out after they are being committed. By observing all these parameters, we decided to make an intelligent security system which will detect crime or any kind of misdeed action and required action will be taken at that instant. Owner will not have to worry even in his absence due to real time image feedback used in this system This system is suitable for small personal area surveillance. i.e. personal office cabin, bank locker room, parking entrance Whenever the motion is detected through. The implementation method we have used is "V Model". The advantage of the V-Model method is that it is very easy to understand and apply. The simplicity of this model also makes it easier to manage.
With inputs from the system design, the system is first developed in small programs called units, which are integrated in the next phase. Each unit is developed and tested for its functionality. Then all the units developed in the implementation phase are integrated into a system after testing of each unit. Post integration the entire system is tested for any faults and failures.
