Project Summary

IOT Based ventilator is smart system for covid patient which provide air facilities. It  is an automatic system that helps the patient take breaths if they face critical condition. The smart ventilator offers a wide variety of control parameters which can be levereged during the covid -19 crisis and also for other respiratory disorders including the volume and pressure control as per the age of the patient.
A smart ventilator mechanically helps pump oxygen and the air flows through a tube that goes in the lungs as well.

Project Objectives

  • A smart ventilator mechanically helps pump oxygen and the air flows through a tube that goes in the lungs as well
  • .The smart ventilator offers a wide variety of control parameters which can be levereged during the covid -19 crisis and also for other respiratory disorders including the volume and pressure control as per the age of the patient
  • The system can monitor the heart beat , and temperature of the patient  

Project Implementation Method

IOT based ventilator is smart system for covid -19 patient is controlled by a smart device aurduino which controlled all process in the system. The ventilator is controlled by the mobile application , where we can give command to the system for regulate the oxygen for the patient according to the need.

Here we use the relay and dc motors, if we give command to arduino, it controlled the relay and the relay operate the dc motors. The linear actuator operate the BVM bag which provide oxygen to the patient.

We use the temperature sensor which measured the temperature of ventilator room and sow on our mobile and we ccan controlled the temperature form mobile application.

Benefits of the Project

  • It provide the xoygen facilities for the patient in ciritical condition
  • The machine will blow air into the patient lungs automatically if he haven't taken a breath in a set amout of time
  • It monitor the heart beat and temperature  of patient as well as oxygen  provide
