Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject SummaryThe summry of this project is the efficient & smart inventory management system according to supermarket needs, which contains all information of the stocks e.g. quantity, finding misplaced goods and Availability/Unavailability of the items.
Project Objectives- To develop in depth understanding of IoT, its applications and future developments.
- RFID tags do not need to be scanned by a laser gun. Instead, they operate like Bluetooth devices and can be detected from up to a few feet away.
- To provide a Smart Inventory Management System that may be implemented in Super Markets.
- To make this system cost effective and user friendly.
We use waterfall model the waterfall model is a breakdown of project activities into linear sequential phases, where each phase depends on the deliverables of the previous one and corresponds to a specialization of tasks. The approach is typical for certain areas of engineering design.
- Eliminate manual data entry and input errors.
- Delight Super markets by swift response and services.
- Actual monitoring/track of goods movement.
- Actual stock calculation.
