You can monitor it through your mobile by using this application's mobile app in which you can watch a live view of camera.
When any kind of suspicious activity(motion through sensors) is detected in camera it will generate push notification in a mobile app and alert you.
There is also a major feature of this project is a counter, It counts how many people are entering the building and update with how many are leaving and how many are in the building/house.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of the project is to provide security to users through IOT. It's a different technology as compared to camera because it will allow you to have a live video view through app, it will also generate push notification to your mobile.
Another objective of the project is providing safety to people. In case of emergencies this will tell you exactly how many people are there inside a building. This will help in rescuing them.
This project can be implemented by installing motion sensors in your house like when you're leaving your house you can turn motion sensors of if motion is detected it will inform you through notification in mobile app.
Project Implementation MethodOur project deals with the newest form of surveillance systems deals with biometric trait such as fingerprints. They have not only overcome the problems of previous security systems in remembering the PIN but also provide a very high level of security. The fingerprints are, one of the oldest and most universally used biometric traits. The skin on our fingers reveals a flow like a pattern known as friction ridges. The patterns of these ridges on each finger are inimitable and unassailable which formulate fingerprint a distinctive form of identification for each individual for unloacking the door. The Raspberry PI 3 Model B is a third generation embedded system that maintains the same popular board format of the personal computer with low cost and lesser size embedded devices. It does not comprise an integrated hard-disk or but uses a SD card for booting and continual storage. The foundation of Raspberry PI provides Debian and Arch Linux ARM distributions for download. Researchers have been going on to develop systems utilizing a combination of biometrics and low cost embedded systems with IoT capability such as Raspberry PI 3 and user can easily get in by just put his/her fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor and with the help of camera the user also select the area of intrusion for the security of their vehicles and door and when any malicious person or action can be detected through the intrusion and notification will be pushed to the user by using mobile application.
Benefits of the ProjectThe goal of this project is to evaluate a suitable set to develop a smart door lock which is intended to offer high security by using fingerprint, easy access, and control. 8 A key challenge that is faced in this project is the security and privacy of the IoT systems. Therefore, the project will present an extensive investigation for the security and privacy of IoT systems seeking 13 to enhance the lock mechanism by connecting it to the internet, making it more robust, productive and innovative
