Water Management is important since it helps to determine future Irrigation expectations. Water management is the management of water resources under set policies and regulations. Water, once an abundant natural resource, is becoming a more valuable commodity due to droughts and overuse. Efficient utilization of resources is vital when there is a shortage in resources and high demand. Satisfying the increasing demand for water supply has been major challenge for our country Pakistan. To cater this recent issue of water in Pakistan, we aimed to develop a product named IOT based water resource management system using Machine learning to enable the consumers and Provider to efficiently utilize the water resource based on priorities and necessities and manage and equally distribute water all over the country. Our system involves an intelligent management system for efficient utilization of resources such as efficient water management to overcome shortages due to limited availability of resources and high demand. This new technology is the successor to the existing systems in place. This system aims at better utilization of resources and aids in analysis which would be useful for future planning. We have designed and developed an intelligent IOT Based Water Resource management system Using predictor, database management and locally controlled approach of Machine Learning which is able to resolve the water management issue in old and new housing societies. Water flow is monitored using this meter. Water provided to all consumers according to their requirement, and if their need increases it would be considered and will be entertained. This reduces wastage and increases revenue. It Blocks any Unfair Usage like water theft and able to detect the leakage in main pipe lines. An alert send to distribution authorities so that they would able to take quick action.
This meter is Self rechargeable. It operates at solar panel during day time and also charge the battery for backup during day time from solar panel and operates at that battery during night. In this way our meter do not need any supply to operate.Previous bill payments is also available in this system. In this way, our product is equally managing the existing resource.
The main objective of this project is to manage and reduce the wastage of water at industrial and domestic level and to develop a product to enable the consumers and Provider to efficiently utilize the water resource based on priorities and necessities and manage and equally distribute the water all over the country using Smart approach of IoT and Machine learning.
Our system provides the sufficient distribution to domestic sector, Commercial Buildings, Hotels, Agricultural fields etc. Our product removes the Manual approach system and tank system. Therefore, there is 24 hours water supply available. Billing would be on the amount of Water used. Authorities (government) are also aware whether the resources are shared properly or not.
The main features of our project are to design IOT based device, water flow and quality monitoring, peak time management, equally resource management for a complete year, billing on water that used, block unfair usage, Self recharge ability, ability to detect leakage in main pipeline, design the machine learning model to resolve the water management issue in old and new housing societies.
Wireless sensors plays a key role in enabling the transmission and receiving of the data that is collected by the customer side and server side , respectively. Water from a source is supplied, from where water is distributed to end consumers (houses etc). The provider can update water level related notifications to web server using internet. It provides facility of online bill payment system. The user will be notified to pay the bill according to the water usage. This system operates at solar panel during day time and also charge the battery and will operate at that battery during night. In this way our meter do not need any other supply to operate.This system provides the sufficient distribution to domestic sector, Commercial Buildings, Hotels, Agricultural fields etc. Our product also removes the Manual approach system and tank system. Therefore, there is 24 hours water supply available. . An analysis of water usage through various outlets in a house is provided in order to educate residents on cutting down wasteful usage.
Benefits of the ProjectThis system comprises of multiple features like water flow and quality monitoring, peak time management, equally resource management , billing on water that used, blockage of unfair usage, Self recharge ability, ability of leakage detection in main pipeline.The advantage of the system is to provide the adequate water supply with equal distribution to each house, industry etc.
Our product will be available commercially as well as government departments can also access this product for any purpose and can easily use our product.

Water that is consumed by a single customer
Amount of water that is needed for each consumer
Amount of water that has been held by the municipal corporations
The billing information is calculated
Previous bill payments is also available in this system
