Intelligent or Smart charging means adapting the charging cycle of EVs to both the conditions of the power system and the needs of vehicle users. This facilitates the integration of EVs while meeting mobility needs. The features of this system allow scheduling the charges, managing the power delivery to the EV in accordance with the established restrictions, energy optimization and the power grid infrastructure. Besides, the energy distribution intelligent algorithm prevents the grid from undergoing cut offs due to overload or phase unbalance by controlling the various charging circuits by means of interaction with them and the scheduling of energy demanding EVs in the infrastructure. This project is concerned with the design and development of a battery charger and charging management system that is capable of charging EV’s batteries. The system will feature a controllable intelligent battery charger management system. The design of the system is split into two distinct sections: a Charging module and intelligent BMS. This work is proposed to design a system to create and handle Electric Vehicles (EV) charging procedures, based on intelligent process. Electric Vehicles charging should be performed in a balanced way due to which we are using intelligent Battery Management System.This project aims to overcome the problem of slow and inefficient charging. This battery charger can be installed at various places to charge any battery like EV battery. This is an environment friendly project and is in accordance with 'Pakistan vision 2025'. |

Project Objectives- To implement Fast Charging for EV’s
- To design and implement an efficient converter for DC fast charging
- To design an intelligent BMS
Research and data collection on efficient converter, designing of controller mechanism that will control the battery charging using an algorithm and then designing of an intelligent battery management system which will improve battery health. Then we will practically implement it on hardware.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable- Charging Module according to charging requirement which will consist of converter, rectifier and controller.
- Controller will be Based on intelligent system which will monitor the charging according to Battery conditions.
- Controller Based intelligent Battery Management System.
- BMS will monitor the cells voltages level while charging and will control voltages according to requirement.
