HRTS VR repairing game environment
Project Area of Specialization Augmented and Virtual RealityProject SummaryHRTS VR repairing game environment is a training app in which people could learn by playing game. The app will provide training of distribution board in which control of bulbs(LED, tube lights, energy savers, fans.) repairing of switch boards, fans, bulb, microwave. This app also allows user to buy parts that are to be replaced in the appliance in real world.
This game starts with the house that has broken electronic appliances we need to repair this. This game allows us to play multiplayer game through session wise , For example player 1 will start the game and needs to repair it in a specific time and the game will end then player 2 will starts the game and need to repair it in a time less than player 1, after playing the game points will be recorded and displayed on the leader board. The points earn on the game can be used to buy new tools in the game
The game is divided into some levels such as:
LEVEL 1: in level 1 user needs to check distribution board for voltage distribution all across the home, of there is any spark the user needs to cut off the electrical supply of that room.
LEVEL 2: in level 2 the user will repair the lights in which there is a problem in the holder and its wiring and then in the circuit. There is also a sub level for light like tube light in which user needs to check the capacitor of tube light and its tube.
LEVEL 3: in level 3 user will fix fans, its wiring, capacitor and how to fix the fan on ceiling.
LEVEL 4: in level 4 user will fix microwave, it will also have sub levels in which different problems are identified in microwave like its circuit, heating system and wiring.
- Implement the virtual reality technology for controlling distribution board and repairing the electric appliances e.g. Bulb, microwave, switchboard, fans.
- VR headsets track the position of the users within a given space so that the computer renders the changes of positions. Users holding their tools or other things will be given the illusion that they are moving in the virtual world. The input here is as close to reality as possible, to move around users don’t press a button, they actually move around.
- Devices simulate hands so players can interact with objects: repairing, controlling, etc.
- users can also buy electronic appliance parts from the real world.
- user can earn points by repairing.
- hands on virtual training of repairing appliance.
- If any player has less point , other player can share points with the player and then it can buy new tools for repairing.
- Leader Board will be displayed after the game ends and decide who have won.
We will implement our project through waterfall model. Phases of implemented method as follows:
1. Requirement gathering and Analysis: All possible requirements of the system to be developed are captured in this phase and documented in a requirement specification
document.
2. System Design: The requirement specifications from first phase are studied in this phase and the system design is prepared. This system design helps in specifying hardware and system requirements and helps in defining the overall system architecture.
3. Coding / Implementation: With inputs from the system design, the system is first developed in small programs called units, which are integrated in the next phase. Each unit is developed and tested for its functionality, which is referred to as Unit Testing.
4. Integration and Testing: All the units developed in the implementation phase are integrated into a system after testing of each unit. Post integration the entire system is tested for any faults and failures.
5. Deployment of system: Once the functional and non-functional testing is done; the product is deployed in the live environment.
