Project Objectives

The main theme of the project is to provide an efficient solution for customers to place order for items of three categories: Grocery, Electronics and Stationery. The customer will be provided with the ordered items at their own location and payment will be paid at delivery time. The app will be integrated with Smart Fridge Prototype. Smart Fridge will identify the items present in the fridge of a customer and store the quantity of each item in database. When the quantity of an item will reach the threshold value, the customer will be notified through Asaan Shopping, so that he/she can place order for that specific item. In this way we will manage the fridge of a customer. Smart fridge will be a dummy fridge which will act as a prototype of real fridge.

Project Implementation Method

We will be the following methodology for development:

• Asp.net mvc (Model View Controller) 
• Entity Frame work will be used to convert entities in to database tables
• SQL server for database
• Visual Studio 2015
• Android Studio to convert the web into App

To conclude we can say we with the help of this app people can buy by sitting at home and they also can rate the delivery service. This app will overall help the society in a better way and we through this system can generate few jobs that will be good. One thing to keep in mind is that there were previously people who tried to implement the idea of smart fridge number of experiments were made to connect the smart fridge with the app but the only problem is that in our local market there are problems in producing the right smart fridge which can return the results we want so huge amount of work still needed to be done.
