We are making a home surveillance system using micro mouse technology. Micro mouse is a small robot mouse solve a 16×16 maze. Once the optimal route has been found, the mouse will run that
route in the shortest possible time. We are introducing live video sharing in this surveillance system through which you don’t have to worry about your house even in your absence you can access to
your house through live video sharing anytime, anywhere. This system also contains face detection feature that all the authorized persons in the house are in the database of the system so that no
unauthorized person will be able to access into the house or if any incident or emergency occurs in the house so it will notify or alert you through its mobile application and you can easily access from the
live video sharing and able to see what is happening in the house.
Research Objectives:
Our research is towards our final year project and towards the enhancement of surveillance
systems which help our society for the security of their houses they paid a massive amount
for the guards for the security, it will help the society from these monthly expenses.
Other Objectives:
This surveillance system will help the users to make their houses more securable.
The user can access to his house from anywhere by live video sharing and see what activities is happening in the house.
No other than house members will access into the house.
If someone tries to enter into the house so it will notify or alert you through the mobile application.
We have used AGILE methodology in the making of this surveillance system. Agile project management is an iterative approach to delivering a project throughout its life cycle. Iterative or agile life cycles are composed of several iterations or incremental steps towards the completion of a project. The steps which are taken in the implementation of the project are as follows:
Our project is based on a raspberry pi which is connected with the firebase server, mobile application and flask API these all are interlinked with each other. So when we register face through the mobile application it goes into API and firebase server and after that into the surveillance system. So, that’s how the overall system design works.

It uses micro mouse technology for the surveillance which will save time and it very immediate and quick in its operations.
It contains a database of recognizing persons so no other than the unauthorized persons will be allowed to access into the home.
It also contains a mobile application through it gives you an alert of any suspicious activity or if any unauthorized person tries to enter the house.
It also contains night vision cameras so you can easily see in the night also.
It contains an alert system which will alert you about any suspicious activity through the mobile application.
Our Home Surveillance system is a hardware/software-based system. So the output of the project will be set on an android application to the user. User will download an APK file which is built on flutter.
Our system will rotate all over the house and check all the entrance and exit routes if an unauthorized person will detect it will send the alert to the user then the user can check live streaming from the app and can call from his phone to police.
On application, user can check alerts, live streaming, location, battery and authorized users from the system.
