The focus in our first part of the project is to study about amplifier that plays vital role in communication system. The power amplifier (PA) is part of every communication system and is installed before antenna. Power amplifier are used in radar and radio transmitters to increase the radiated power level. Actually, PA is inherently non-linear devices.

Project Objectives

•Design of Power Amplifier capable of operating at 5.8 GHz with  efficiency greater than 70%

Project Implementation Method
    1. Scattering parameters (S- parameters)

Scattering parameters are used for high frequency network. It is the ratio of normalized reflected waves at ith port and normalized incident wave at jth port.The basic idea of impedance matching is when the load is conjugate of source then maximum power will be transfer. If this condition is not matched, reflection will be occurred and there will be loss of power.

the main benefit of this project is design a high efficient power amplifier.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final task of our this project is to match the frequency with 2.4 Ghz. we have to match this frequency to flow the power with high voltage and high frequency.
