Project Summary

Handy Restaurant will assist both restaurant admin and their customers to save resources along with better outcomes for customers. Every table has a QR code, it will provide a handy control to every customer over the facility to order the food items just by scanning the QR.
After scanning the QR code the customers can see the food items and their reviews, after selecting the food items the customer must pay the bill first through cash or through e payment methods on the spot, after payment verification from the admin side customer can track the order and able to see the average food preparation time through the app.
On the other hand, the Restaurant management will be able to focus on their goals more precisely, also they will get honest reviews from the customers.
Admin will be able to update their customers with the status of the order and update the menu. Rather, they will utilize their resources on the efficiency of their processes to prepare more orders in less time with the least human intervention.

Project Objectives

The objectives of our project are to reduce the hurdles between managers and customers, and this app will act as an intermediary between them.
To save time and accuracy in order placement.
Provide customers to choose whatever they want without waiting for the waiter.
Providing customers with the ability to make changes to the order.
Waiving the cost of waiter’s salaries for Management/Owner.
Providing more modern ways for customers and Admins to maintain the food order.
To make it possible for an admin to handle more orders in less time.
Show reviews for customers to order wisely.
Make easy payment methods for customers.

Benefits of the Project

This android application will be built/developed in a modern way to help both customers and Admins to give them ease in maintaining orders and bills. The system will provide the ease for customers, to order food (Dine-in) just by scanning QR Code, selecting items from the menu, and placing an order. This app will be made in such a way that people with little or no background in this idea can easily use it without any problems. And I will help society to modernize the restaurant system by replacing waiters with a handy restaurant system Also, this app will show the user the time taken in preparing the meal and will show the user if a certain item is unavailable. It will also provide customers with their table number and order number.
These specifications will help people to dine in peace and they will have a leisure time to spend with their accompanied people at the table, and on a larger scale it will make the restaurant industry smoother and more prolific in terms of marketing and maintenance, they will be able to get more outcome will fewer efforts and investments.

For Customers

• Scan QR: We can directly link with the restaurant by simply scanning the QR code.
• Order Details The customer can choose their food items, pay bills and place the order. The customer can see the other customer reviews and can also give their own reviews on their order. The customer can see the average preparation and delivery time.
• Bill Details: The customer can pay by using the E-payment methods and by hand on the counter.

For Admin

• Update Menu: The staff can update the menu list. And can also update the price of the food items
• Waiting customers List:  The staff can easily see the list of the customer who is in the waiting state.
• Completed orders list: List of all completed orders.
