Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryIn our daily life, we are facing difficulties while making and reading the manual data sheets and big receipts.Also it becomes very hectic to keep track of the manual record.In most cases, the important handwritten records gets lost,stolen or gets fade which becomes hard to understand. We require such a system which can easily transform the handwritten text to a digital sheet via camera and other sensors.In this way, data management, data storage and data analysis will become convenient and reliable. The idea is to convert handwritten text based data sheets into Digital sheet by using easy to use Mobile Application.
Project Objectives- To make a Real time Text Recognition Software System using Image Processing Methods.

- To Reduce Human effort by making Easy to Use Application.
- To reduce time complexity and work cost on Digitalizing manual based Systems into Digital System.
- To make a robust, user friendly, and Intelligent Mobile Application for Office Data Sheet Digitalization Process.
In this project, the technology of optical character recognition (OCR) enables the recognition of texts from image data. The system is constituted by the raspberry pi, HD camera and Bluetooth headset. This technology has been widely used in scanned or photographed documents, converting them into electronic copies.
Text detection and recognition has brought
many Challenges in scenes such as complex backgrounds,
small font sizes, inappropriate font styles, stable
photos, emerging photos, bright lights have made
the task difficult. In our proposed method we use flexible method to extract texts from challenging images by employing basic image processing techniques.
The system builds an operating system in a form OCR that can recognise the English content present in an image captured by
using a camera then display the recognised text into editable format on devices screen. The planned system has used the characters from figure with the assist of ANN for recognition. Following implementation steps are involved in general.
Database gathering: In favor of the detection of text
from a hidden image, initially we require to build
up our dataset, which contains the description of the
character recognized from the analysis to
demonstrate the text enclosed by the picture.
Pre Processing: For the period of this step
preprocessing schemes such as quantization
moreover resizing is used. As the major complexity
in the image processing field is the range of the
image which depends on the image resolution
means number of pixel limited by the picture.
It Benefits in digitalizing a Gornament departments. (e.g spread sheets, report forms old record etc)
Converting hard-form data into soft form is hard, to reduce the time and efforts this product wil helps and benifits while degitizing it.
In handwritten records getting text from hard-form(through image) is hard and convert it into soft-form it helps to reduce hard work load whlile converting.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn our Final Deliverable of a project
we deploy a device which is completely capable and trained to convert and get text data from a physical document and convert it into a digital form.
Our device gets an image of physical hardform document through camera and convert it into digital document with the help of pre-defined and trained datasets
