Project focuses on translation of sign language gestures into Text or Audio, allowing other people who does not understand sign language to communicate with specially abled people
Project objective is to allow seamless conversation and remove the communication barrier that exists between the normal and speciall abled, who are unable to speak or listen. This Project will help these kinds of people to possibly lead a normal life
Project is implemented on Python. Machine learning with Image recognition is being used to recognize hand signs and gestures. These are then later converted into audio or text
Benefits of Projects are that instead of using a translator to translate sign gestures into sentences, application can be used to interpret those signs
CNN algorithm is being used. Along with it, keras and tensorflow libraries are being more. Further more, a gpu based system is used for faster training of model. Dataset is collected from internet. For advanced gestures, dataset is being collected which is not available on internet
