Security and automation is a prime concern in our day-to-day life. This hardware project will increase the standards of security by combining new design techniques and developed a low-cost home and industrial automated security systems. The design of a simple hardware circuit enables every user to use this wireless industry security system with different sensors. Industrial Protection System Using GSM” is a system that is used in industries mostly in a factory, workshop, quarry, mine, farm and etc. This idea is implemented in the industries in order to give better quality management and more secure protection systems. The use of GSM technology is to make it easier to notify the current condition in certain areas such as factory, workshop, quarry, mine, farm and etc.

The Microcontroller based system is continuously watching over the security issues of the factory, if any mishap condition occurs it will sense and send a message on mobile. The system is composed of the microcontroller based wireless sensor network center node with GSM module, data collecting node, device control node, and mobile phone. The wireless sensor network data collecting node module is connected with an Infrared Detector, Temperature Sensor. When the IR finds that some people intrude into the industry or when the temperature sensor detects too high indoor temperature, the data collecting node will send encoded alarm signal to the wireless sensor network center node through the wireless sensor network established in the home. Once the Wireless sensor network center node receives an alarm signal, it will send alarm short message to the users through the GSM module and GSM network immediately. When the temperature sensor detects too high indoor temperature and at the same time, the sensors will send encoded alarm signal to the industry control center through the wireless sensor network established in the home. Once the wireless control center receives an alarm signal, it will send alarm short message to the users through the GSM module and GSM network immediately.

Visual Studio 2012:

 It is used for all types of desktop and other windows applications and it provides the best option for designing GUI (graphic user interface).

SQL Server 2012:

For storing and manipulation of the record, a backend database is necessary. SQL server 2012provides facility to store and maintain more than 50000 records in the database.

 is an object-oriented programming language and due to versatile naught of the GUI, it is used for the desktop application. It contains built-in libraries that help the coder to use them instead of building its own libraries.  it also supports different hardware device connected like camera and Arduino. in c#  completion of code is easy due to.Net framework that reduces the compilation time and helps in enhancing the efficiency of the software.

Temperature Sensor:

A temperature sensor is exactly what it sounds like – a sensor used to measure ambient temperature. This particular sensor has three pins – a positive, a ground, and a signal. 

Smoke  Sensor:

Smoke Detectors are very useful in detecting smoke or fire in buildings, and so are the important safety parameters. In this DIY session, we are going to build a Smoke Detector Circuit which not only sense the smoke in the air but also reads and displays the level of Smoke in the Air in PPM (parts per million).

 Light sensor:

A photocell or photoresistor is a small sensor which changes its resistance when light shines on it. ... Photomultipliers detect light and multiply it. Our human eyes detect light and convert information from the light into electrical signals that are sent to our brains.

Application:

Devices that include light sensors have several uses in scientific applications and in everyday consumer products. A light sensor may be part of a safety or security device like a garage door opener or a burglary alarm. These devices often work by shining a beam of light from one sensor to another.
