The aim of this project is to design a system that is cost effective and synchronize photovoltaic power and grid or and use them simultaneously. We will design an inverter that will convert the PV power to three phase supply. The device will monitor the parameters of both grid and the three phase PV power. After monitoring the parameters of supplies, the device will synchronize. On the other hand, if there is no sunlight i.e. at night or during cloudy weather, then the system will switch on complete power from utility grid.

  To design a monitoring system for parameters of power from      different supply sources

Project Implementation Method

The maximum power from the photovoltaic cell will be achieved by the method of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) because each PV system has a point at which current and voltage output from the PV result in the maximum power output.

The input power from the grid is three phase for commercial use. The device will track the parameters of the incoming signal from the grid and the modulated signal of MPPT will be synchronized with it. Now the synchronized signal can be used along with grid power.

The maximum power will be utilized to run the load from photovoltaic system. There are fluctuations in power demand due to varying load industry. To deal with these load fluctuations load, the propose system will draw power from the grid.
