The risk of explosion, firing, suffocation are based on their physical properties such toxicity, flammability, etc. The number of deaths due to explosion of gas cylinders has been increasing in recent years. The reason for such explosion is due to substandard cylinders, old valves, worn out regulators and lack of awareness in handling gas cylinders. The LPG or propane is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as fuel in many applications like homes, hostels, industries, automobiles, vehicles because of its desirable properties which include high calorific value, less smoke, less soot, and meager harm to the environment. If LPG is leak or fire is detected so this system will alert people about its via the use of buzzer, LCD, voice message through the speaker, and as well as GSM infrastructure was developed. The GSM based gas alert system utilize the gas sensor to detect leakage in the event that it occurs and then sent short message to a predefine telephone number on the other hand. We have used IOT system if unfortunately the alert system will not respond quickly so the whole system will connect through the IOT.we are fabricate our own gas detection Sensor that is “GRAPHENE BASED” which will detect the leakage of Gas.
Project Objectives- To design graphene based gas Leakage sensor.
- To test fabricated Sensor.
- Sensor automatically detect and stop gas leakage.
- Sensor employ an audible alarm to alert people when a dangerous gas has been detected.
- After detect or Sense the gas leakage it will display the response on Graphical LCD.
We can implement this project in various fields like:
- We are making graphene based gas leakage sensor so this can be used as transparent window glass.
- We can also use as smart glasses and as well as watches.
- We can use this project in industries.
- In house hold activities we can also use this to protect human lives from hazardous situations.
- In factories we can also use in it.
- In vehicles we can also use this project as a safety factor to protect the vehicle from disaster.
There are lots of Benefits/Advantages of this type of system like:
- We can save human lives from disaster by using in homes.
- The sensor have excellent sensitivity combined with a fast response of time.
- The system is highly reliable.
- The cost of this system is low.
- This System contain less complex circuit.
- Detection and preventation of any sort of gas leakage.
