GPS based vehicle accident identification system is designed for Automobile Manufacturer Companies which fulfill the rescue need of the customer via  GPS accident identification system device which provide the key benefit of rescuing people in case of emergency and serious accidental cases with the hope of decreasing  Death-Rate & providing a unique difference of latest technology sensors to detect swear accidental cases and their locations and the device can be used for both manual and automatic vehicles.

Providing a better technological Approach in a positive manner to save mankind using GPS based vehicle accident identification system. The main goal of the company is to save lives the people time and help them in accidental situations, “A Faulty Wire Can Start A Fire”

Our Product has the biggest key benefit that the same device can be used for Auto and Manual Cars Uses a special Buzzer to abort the message of Medical Aid, Saves Time and Timely rescue. All of those competitors provide Assistance for Drivers, Develops Auto-Motive Safety systems, Moving Towards Trucking Industries, etc.

Project Objectives

The main objective of the software “GPS Based Vehicle Identification System” is to identify vehicles and their owner’s information, which will reduce the human burden regarding their vehicle’s safety. Vehicle’s Identification System is a versatile software solution. This software is designed in such a way that it works well in all weather conditions as well as identify vehicle and store details about them in very huge traffic as well. The best feature of this software is that it is a web-based vehicle identification system that doesn’t require a person to go to the office manually for getting any detail regarding any of the vehicles.

       The software is designed in a planned way and uses various technologies including various new facilities like using any of the DBMS software for storage of data.
 The software is programmed in such a way that it is having centralized storage of the database. Using Vehicle’s Identification System software, within a moment, all the details regarding the particular vehicle can find out.


        This software will prove to be very useful in various ways such as various companies who provide their services in the stream of vehicle selling or vehicle maintenance by keeping the details of the vehicle owners and physical details and verification about the vehicles. Can be used by police departments also for theft catching. It makes the data
storage of vehicles in various streams, very easy and versatile.

Existing System
        In the Existing system, if a person needs any relevant information regarding any vehicle, then he/she will have to go to that concerned office and fill up a lot of forms and details
manually and then they are able to collect information.

Proposed System
       This newly programmed software doesn’t require any manual work or going to the concerning office, instead, it will reduce the work level for getting the data related to any particular vehicle. Even the owners don’t need to fill out any form for getting the data. This web-based vehicle identification system reduces the load and makes the way easy for storing all the relevant details regarding vehicles at a particular server and accessing it in one click whenever needed.


Administrator Module: This module maintains the integration between the functionalities of the whole system and the back-end database. It maintains the
 services related to the administrator.
insurance Module: Processes, like adding insurance details, viewing vehicle details, and sending and viewing messages, are part of this module.

Customer Module: In this module, customer details are maintained. And customer’s username and login details are saved.

Staff Module:  This module maintains the details related to vehicles.

Workshop module: Adding various details such as vehicle registration details and viewing them and all the processes that take place during the working of the organization are included in this module.

Project Implementation Method

  1.  The main aim of this project is to construct a smart vehicle system with minimizing the
  2. limitations of existing methods and also enhancing the security of vehicles and human beings
  3. and also reduces accidental injuries.
  4. This application provides the optimum solution to poor emergency facilities provided to the
  5. roads accidents.
  6. The system also contains a fire sensor and an eye blink sensor. A fire sensor, an eye blink sensor that senses various parameters of the vehicle is connected to a micro-controller that detects when the abnormal conditions occur or any accidents occur and then sends a text message, using GSM technology, to the driver’s private contacts. The text sends to various authorities contains the details of the vehicle and its position.
  7. This project presents vehicle accident detection and alert system with SMS to the user-defined mobile numbers. The GPS tracking and GSM alert-based algorithm is designed and implemented with LPC2148 MCU in the embedded system domain.
  8. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone`s life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team. As there is a scope for improvement and as a future implementation we can add a wireless webcam for capturing the images which will help in providing driver`s assistance.
  9. This design is a system that can detect accidents in significantly less time and sends
  10.  the basic information to the first aid center within a few seconds covering geographical coordinates,
  11.  the time and angle in which a vehicle accident had occurred.
  12. This alert message is sent to the rescue team in a short time, which will help in saving
  13.  valuable lives. the alert message is sent automatically to the rescue team.

Benefits of the Project

  1. Automate the alert system concept providing additional features not present in pre-existing systems.
  2. Successfully detecting the occurrence of an accident without the need for user input
  3.  using various sensors for detecting accidents.
  4. Decreasing the time between the occurrence of the accident and notification
  5.  of the emergency services using the GSM module.
  6. Informing the emergency contacts set by the user that an accident has occurred so
  7.  that their immediate family or friends are aware of the situation using the GSM module.
  8. Providing the exact location of the vehicle in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates.       
  9. order to decrease the response time of the emergency services using the GPS module.
  10. Providing a small time frame for the user to manually cancel system activation using a button
  11. on the system in case of a rare occurrence of false detection.
  12. The device shall also consist of an LCD screen which may be used to interact with the system
  13.  view the state of the system.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

External  Deliverable:

      The accident identification system gathers and sends this vehicle information that met with an accident and conveys it to the nearest control room.

      For this, the user vehicle is fixed with an RF transmitter circuit that has a vibration sensor along with a micro-controller, and RF encoder, and is also fitted with an RF transmitter. Each and every control room must have an RF receiver fitted to receive the transmission. Whenever a user vehicle meets with an accident, the vibration sensor detects and gives its output. This output is then detected by the micro-controller.

        Now the   Micro-controller sends this change detection signal to an RF transmitter. The RF transmitter now intern begins transmitting this accident data. The nearest RF transmitter reads the signal and then shows it on an LCD screen. The person monitoring the LCD screen may react to it, reach the accident location and help the needful.
