Project Summary

Nowadays it is very common that students prefer to work with already done projects, by their elder siblings or relatives so it become easy for them to deal with project. It is very difficult for the coordinator or the teachers supervising the final year projects to memorize all the previous projects, also the coordinator could be replaced with the time so there is a possibility that a project which is already done may get approval.

To solve this issue we have used semantic text mining techniques in our application that will generate a report able to detect whether the project idea is new or has been copied.

Project Objectives

to assists the coordinator to evaluate whether the project idea is new or has already been done. So the students may come up with new ideas which will make their work unique in future.

Project Implementation Method

First step is training the dataset, for that our software extracts the text from a PDF file and then text classification is applied with the help of GloVe making vectors for the meaningful words and these vectors stores in database. Then the next step is testing, for that it extracts all the required data and compare it semantically (word to synonyms) with the previously stored dataset and generate the report on the basis of similarity.
