IOT in healthcare is the key player in providing better medical facilities to the patients and facilitates the doctors and hospitals as well. The proposed system here consists of various medical devices such as sensors and web based or mobile based applications which communicate via network connected devices and helps to monitor and record patients’ health data and medical information. The proposed outcome of the paper is to build a system to provide world-class medical aid to the patients even in the remotest areas with no hospitals in their areas by connecting over the internet and grasping information through about their health status via by the help of trained personnel who give first aid and records the parameters of patient in app or by the wearable devices provided in the kit using a microcontroller node MCU, temperature sensor, pulse oxy-meter, vibration sensor, humidity sensor. These sensors sense the parameters of patient and send on cloud for regular monitoring from where doctor and patient both can access data and can be provided treatment accordingly.
The system would be smart to intimate the patient’s family members about the patient’s current health status with the current location of patient when the patient is outside of home and full medical information in case any medical emergency arises. Hence quick provisional medication can be easily done by this system. This system is efficient with low power consumption capability, easy setup, high performance and time to time response
The project will be implemented in different phases. In first phase app will be developed for doctor and trained person by using andriod studio that use java language. In second phase hardware components will be choosen and assembled to make wearable device it includes ESP32 microcontroller, sensors, breadboard, wires. In third phase database will be developed by using firbase. The last phase is the connectivity of hardware with software. The fingerprint sensor is connected to app for the identification of patient after identification message will be send to the family of patient. The trained person after giving first aid to patient note it in app so that it will be recorded in the patient health history.
This project is for the well-being of mankind. The aim of this project is to provide quick and reliable services for road accident and to save lives of people. This project is also costless that means anyone can avail it. This is the new idea that shows it can also be happen for quick response of saving people.
The final product of this project will be hardware and software interface in case of road accident if their is any first aid trained person around victim he/she give first aid and by using finger print identity of person will be shown in app and then that trained person records in app the treatment given to patient as a patient health history and at the same time message will also be delivered to the family of patient. In case of sever emergency live location of patient also sent to the ambulance staff and they can also see the first aid given by trained person before the arrival on the spot. In case of those patients having wearable device their health will be monitored continuosly and stored on cloud as a patient health history and after checkup by doctor the scanned copy of all reports and tests are stored in patient record so that later it will be easy for patient as well as for doctor to search previous reports.
