These days, providing precautionary actions is one of the complicated issues in the planet.Among the several field, providing the precautionary actions for voting system are the boring and costly one. To be able to make the inexpensive solutions to the above mentioned finger print electronic voting system this project is made. This offers the security by using finger prints which are already been stored in the database. After that the fingerprints have been already stored in the database will be checked, and only if both they matched then the voting system is allow the person to cast his vote. If it is not matched then the system will display that the person doesn’t has the authorization to perform the voting and it will enables the buzzer. With fingerprint technique the voting process appears to be very much easier as well as the reliability is great. The fingerprint voting system offers cost effective in addition to efficient security for the whole election process. We are presenting a new Electronic Voting System with Fingerprint scanning that will overcome the drawbacks of the current voting methods that are used in Pakistan. Currently, the voting system in Pakistan is inefficient and vulnerable to outer threats, the only thing that the security checks is a voter ID card, which these days are faked by many. It is slow and counting the votes manually can take a long time.In some rural areas, where there is not much security available, polling booths are captured and often most ballots are destroyed.So, the development of such a system which is online will cut out these possibilities and many votes can be saved through this system, even if such incidents occur. In total, this system overcomes most of the problems faced during the voting period by the paper ballot system.
The objective of this project is to improve the existing voting system that will be accurate, transparent, and faster and will ensure a single vote for a single person. Our proposed system has covered all of these issues successfully. This product is affordable by many organizations where preferential elections conducted. The product is a prototype and can be implemented for vast use. Voting is an onerous task for the election commission to conduct free and fair polls in our country, the largest democracy in the world. A lot of money has been spent on this to make sure that the elections are rampage free. But, now- a -days it has become very usual for some forces to indulge in rigging which may eventually lead to a result contrary to the actual verdict given by the people. In order to provide inexpensive solutions to the above, this project is implemented with the biomatirc system i.e. fingerprint scanning. This is used to ensure the security to avoid fake, repeated voting, etc. It also enhances the accuracy and speed of the process. The system uses a thumb impression for voter identification as we know that the thumb impression of every human being has a unique pattern. Thus it would have an edge over the present-day voting systems. The purpose of such a system is to ensure that the voting rights are accessed only by a legitimate user and no one else. In this, creation of a database consisting of the thumb impressions of all the eligible voters in a constituency is done as a pre-poll procedure. During elections, the thumb impression of a voter is entered as input to the system. This is then compared with the available records in the database. If the particular pattern matches with anyone in the available record, access to cast a vote is granted. But in case the pattern doesn’t match with the records of the database or in case of repetition, access to cast a vote is denied or the vote gets rejected. The result is instantaneous and counting is done.
The proposed system offline version electronic based fingerprint voting system using Arduino. There is a central database contains all the demographic and biometric data of every citizens of Sri Lanka. In order to reduce load on the central database there were sub databases in every district election office that will be located alongside the servers which will contain copies of data of the citizen that under in district All the sub databases retrieve data from central database only these people who come under its scope The data is periodically updated and is stored in volatile form so that it can be erased if and when necessary sab databases will retrieve only the data that is related to the voting process and exclude all their irrelevant in formation.

This will surely ensure a safer voting method which is very much what is required for a healthy growth of a developing nation like ours
