Our application "Find The Lost" will provide you the ease of finding items that have been lost in the university. You can search for your item in the application. It can reduce the amount of time and effort by providing a platform where description of items will be uploaded by the founder of item.

Project Objectives

As a university student or a faculty member we face "Lost and Find" issue on normal premise. The person who lost a thing consistently faces an issue of where to report it, a few of us post it on Facebook pages or groups while some of them are issued on the noticeboard. Manual strategies are being utilized regarding this like, sticking notices showing the missing or found items. However nobody realizes a legitimate channel where there becomes easy for every individual to report any issue and everyone can get access on it.

Project Implementation Method

This project is mobile based application, we are going to use following tools, technologies and languages.

Main coding languages for developing ios apps.

The JSON is used to enhance the communication between IOS client and the PHP server script.

For connecting database.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Firstly you have to SIGN UP into the app by providing his/her verified ROLL NO, NAME, EMAIL and PHONE NUMBER. So that you can be verified as a university/campus member.

After creating an account by verifying your info, you’ve given two main option LOST ITEM, FOUND ITEM. Than you have to operate it specifically. The notification of lost item will be appeared on a screen of all the application users    

This is a great & and useful application. Good use of this application will have a positive impact on society. Everyone should use it and help people in finding their lost items.

We are using IOS which provides its own components for building an attractive user interface. 

MySQL & Firebase which will help us for storing data which we want to store.

The tool we are using is Xcode. It provides many facilities like debugging, intelligent code completion, syntax handling and testing. It is basically user-friendly tool for development.
