Among other applications, face recognition is one of the primary biometric tasks, becoming more and more important as advances in technologies such as Internet, digital cameras require increased security key features. Face recognition can operate either on still images or image sequences. Also, it can manage either or both tasks: face identification (or recognition) and face verification (or authentication).

Face is most commonly used biometric to recognize people. Face recognition has received substantial attention from researchers due to human activities found in various applications of security like airport, criminal detection, face tracking, forensic etc. Compared to other biometric traits like palm print, Iris, finger print etc., face biometrics can be non-intrusive.

Project Objectives

Face recognition is an important application of image processing owing to its use in many fields. An effective face recognition system based on OpenCV is developed in the project. ... A real time door lock access system by face recognition system based on PCA is presented in the project.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are using modern technology module like arduino & raspberry pi and other circuits to make it more reliable and efficient for security purpose.we are also using python languange and java for android app and we aslo used openCV for high effective face recognization. We are using bio-matric sensor to increase door lock system.
