Project Summary

Nowadays everyone is using social applications for different purposes where they have a lot of friends and connections. The biggest problem in social apps is finding the right friends or connections. Most of the apps use contacts, mutual friends, and location to suggest friends. But this can be a question mark on the privacy and integrity of the consumer. Moreover, these suggested friends are not of our taste or interest and all these suggestions are useless. We are curious about meeting someone with some similarities and having the same face resemblance. Nowadays we are facing suggestions of community which are usually fake and having fake names and ids on social media. That’s why we are developing such an app that helps in finding the same similarities of the face and ease the way to make communication between them, also helping them to find new friends in this social era.

We are making social media app named "Face Community" which suggests those friends that have Face Similarity. So, they have a platform where they communicate with each other by sharing their photos, videos, and posts. We are making this social app because this is unique from other social media platforms. Suggest friends without getting their personal information and contacts. Having a face recognition feature makes this app unique from other social media platforms. In this social app we find friends through face detection, then send requests to each other. Having confirmation from both sides gives the option of ACCEPT or DENIED. After this moves to the chatbox where they communicate with each other. They also share their photos, videos, and posts with each other

Project Objectives

1.  Design a social app that connects people together using the face recognition model.
2.  Suggest friends having the same face similarity.
3.  Developing a user-friendly app. and
4.  Connecting a number of people without getting their personal info.

Project Implementation Method

For making this mobile application Flutter is used for User Interface and this will help for making changes in module on the spot. Using machine learning which is used for collection of data and making this data (Testing, Cleaning, Accuracy). For this model we use tensor flow. Also using Deep Learning on Keras platform. And the total implementation of this mobile app is on Firebase which contains Back End and Database.

This project (Face Community App) is based on Android mobile application.
For development of this social app, it requires computer or laptop and mobile.
