Project Summary

First module in fyp 1 is assessment module in which we are going to test different type of colour blind people by making ishara test which is on multiple choose answer, user  will see the image and will answer if correct then they are not colourblind on that category. Then we will start next type test and at the end their result will conclude that whether they are colour blind or not.
On that module we  will also test the eye sight of  user by giving them a paragraph of different font size. The user have to set the mobile at our defined distance and then will ask user to start read the paragraph in decending form of font sizes and each line will indicate eye sight number ,so user will press the button and will start reading the paragraph.
When the user will read paragraph, the application will also check whether tge user read right words or not then those words which will be shown in bold  it means that he can see this font size easily. Where user will stop reading the text then our application will detect this by their voice that user is taking time to read at that point our application will define their sight number and will show results accordingly

Project Objectives

There are many color vision deficiency test and eye sight test applications in android play store that are somehow related to our application. Color vision deficiency, also called chromatic vision deficiency, is that the inability to determine color distinguish colors. Congenital defect affects an outsized number of people across the globe, with approximately 8% of all Caucasian males and 0.5% of females experiencing problems with some varieties of color deficiency. This suggests that 1 of 20 users might not be ready to see a web site in its full beauty. For these viewers with congenital defect, the text and pictures is also fuzzy and unrecognizable. Fortunately, there are numerous assistive software products for color blind people using Windows computer. In Eye sight weakness is identify by having blurred vision(refractive errors) ,if a person can see clearly up close but blurry in distance this are called Nearsightedness(myopia) and if person can see clearly in the distance but blurry up close this called Farsightness (hyperopia). In our we giving them complete eye testing platform which user can easily use and identify their problem whether they need to see a doctor or not easily at home by giving different eye related test.

Project Implementation Method

we used water fall method, in which we first at all we worked on srs documentation and than we implemented all screens of both module of fyp1 (color blindness) and fyp2 (eye vision) and then after that we start working on im lpementation of classes

Benefits of the Project

 After launching this app, we will be gathering data as much as possible for data analytics and we can utilize this data for further research about how many people are color blind and their types, age, gender etc.
We can enhance it further for iris recognition for future perspective by the help of which we will be able to detect eye movements and will be able to predict behaviour accors

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

1. EYE SIGHT TEST:

 A user can test their left eye sight.

 A user can test their right eye sight.

 A user can choose text type i.e. letter or Number.

 A user can see and share their result.

 Test is based on Speech to text where the user can read the text which they see on the screen.

2. COLOR VISION TEST:

A user can choose the type of color deficiency before the test

.A user can see and share their result.

Test is based on ishihara test plate ,where user can identify what they see inside the plate and then write it on the text box.
