•Similarly weather estimation like sunny or rainy.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of this project is to measure the diameter / radius of pupil of human being in different conditions. for the estimation of weather and time. For this we need:
- To study the related work
- To use datasets for training machine
- To collect new dataset for transfer learning approach
- To model systems for estimating time and time regions based on pupil size estimation
After this project, we will be able to give out system a picture of a person, and our system will automatically find face of the person, and then find eye from the face. Then it’ll match the eye of the person from out dataset, then give the answer by comparing it with given dataset. By this means we will get to know what weather and time it is (by the help of pupil).
Project Implementation MethodFor implementing this project we will need a camera, which will detect the face first then it will detect the eye and then the pupil by the help of detection algorithms. after the detection of pupil it will estimate the pupil size, its diameter and radius, We will use pupil detection algorithm for this.

- Can estimate the weather by measuring the pupil size.
- New dataset will be publicly available.
this project will be helpful in police department as to identify from the picure or clip of the theif that at what time has attempted the crime or in which weather condition.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe have done the research for the estimation of pupil size and it's diameter and radius by reading the research papers, we have implemented the face and eye detection algorithm and working on the pupil detection algorithm. We are using pycharm software for the implementation of the code in phython language. for the final deliverable we require an infrared camera which will detect the pupil, then by using the algorithms we will estimate the size of the pupil, for this we need a good graphical card. After the estimation of the size of the pupil we will detect from that size that what is the time and the weather. This whole project is based on an artificial inteligent, this required the the software and hardware both.
